LiftMaster 87802 — the Elite Series heavy-duty DC chain drive garage door opener on the I-beam rail, with 2,000-lumen corner-to-corner LED lighting, battery backup, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and rails up to 14 ft for RV and oversize doors. Built for heavy wood and insulated doors and for the 841LM automatic deadbolt, which is why it carries the lock-capable logic board. Security+ 2.0 radio with the yellow learn button; up to 40 remotes.
LiftMaster discontinued the 87802 in October 2025. The replacement is the 4690L — the same heavy-duty I-beam chain drive with battery backup, now with the 360° camera, 2,000-lumen ring LED and Security+ 3.0, and the same 7 to 14 ft rail choices. If this page still shows the 87802 as available it is remaining stock; once it is gone we cannot get more. Everything below it — boards, motors, rails, remotes, batteries — is still supplied, so an installed 87802 can be kept running for years. The 4690L uses the same 3707CH / 3708CH / 3710CH / 3712RV / 3714RV I-beam rails, chains and trolley, so on a like-for-like swap the rail normally stays.

Common questions
Can I still buy an 87802?
No — it is gone. The 4690L is the direct replacement: same heavy-duty chain drive and I-beam rail, same 14 ft capability, with the camera and lifetime motor warranty added.
Will my remotes and the 841LM lock work on the 4690L?
Remotes no (Security+ 3.0 ships with two L993M). The 841LM lock: confirm with us before you order — the 4690L logic board is the 030DCT and we will check the lock terminals on the current revision.
Can I reuse my I-beam rail?
Normally yes on a straight swap to the 4690L — the rail, chain and trolley part numbers are the same. Check the chain for stretch.
Which logic board does my 87802 take?
The lock-capable 050DCTBFLKMC. The plain 050DCTBFMC has no lock terminals and will not run the 841LM.
