LiftMaster 84504R — the Secure View DC belt drive garage door opener with an integrated camera, dual 1,500-lumen LED lighting, battery backup and built-in Wi-Fi. Head unit with the belt rail ordered to door height. A 130° wide-angle camera with night vision, two-way audio and live streaming in the myQ app, the 485LM battery, and the Security+ 2.0 radio with the yellow learn button. It was LiftMaster's first belt drive with the camera built into the head and sold in volume from 2021 until the Security+ 3.0 line replaced it.
LiftMaster discontinued the 84504R in October 2025. The replacement is the 6580L — the same 1 HPs belt drive with dual LED lighting and battery backup, now with a 360° swivel camera and Security+ 3.0. If this page still shows the 84504R as available it is remaining stock; once it is gone we cannot get more. Everything below it — boards, motors, rails, remotes, batteries — is still supplied, so an installed 84504R can be kept running for years. The 6580L uses the same 2777BD / 2778BD / 2770BD belt rail and trolley, so on a like-for-like swap the rail on the ceiling normally stays.

Common questions
Can I still buy an 84504R?
Only while remaining stock lasts. The 6580L is LiftMaster's replacement and, for a busier door or a lifetime warranty, the 6690L is the step up.
Will my remotes and keypad work on the 6580L?
No — the 6580L is Security+ 3.0 and ships with an L993M remote. Keep the old remotes for the old opener or use the L992U universal.
Can I reuse my belt rail?
On a straight swap to a 6580L, normally yes: same rail, belt and trolley part numbers. Check the belt for cracking while the head is down.
The camera stopped working — is that the board?
Usually not. Check Wi-Fi signal at the opener first, then the 041-0349-000 camera harness, then the camera itself.
Does myQ still work?
Yes. Discontinuation affects new units only.
