Genuine LiftMaster LMLED1 — the LED bulb LiftMaster makes for garage door openers. 800 lumens (a 60 W equivalent), daylight white, rated 25,000 hours, tested to −30°F, shatter-resistant, and — the reason it exists — designed not to interfere with the opener's radio. It fits the standard medium (E26) light socket on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, Genie and most other openers with a bulb socket. Sold singly.
Why not a hardware-store LED? Cheap LED and CFL bulbs radiate noise across the 300–400 MHz band the remotes use. The classic symptoms are a remote that only works from the driveway, a remote that closes the door but will not open it, or a new remote or keypad that will not program — and the light is the last thing anyone suspects. Swap in the LMLED1 (or Chamberlain's CHLED1) before you replace a logic board.

One bulb per socket, 100 W maximum, no halogen. Chamberlain Group limits the socket to bulbs of 2-3/8 in diameter and 4-7/16 in length and prohibits halogen and short-neck specialty bulbs; the 2220L / 2420L socket is rated 60 W. The LMLED1 is inside every one of those limits.
Is the bulb the problem?
The light is the most-ignored cause of remote trouble on a garage door opener. Check it first:

Common questions
Is it really different from a $3 LED?
Yes. Chamberlain Group tests it against its own receivers; generic bulbs vary batch to batch and many of them swamp the receiver. It also survives the vibration and the temperature swings inside an opener head, which ordinary bulbs do not.
Will it fit my Genie or Craftsman?
Yes — any opener with a standard medium screw-in socket. Genie openers benefit as much as LiftMaster ones.
Is it dimmable?
No, and the opener has no dimmer. It is either on (when the door moves, or from the wall control) or off.
My opener has a flat LED panel, not a bulb
