Genuine LiftMaster 045ACTMC receiver logic board (printed 045ACT or 45ACT) — the Security+ 2.0 board with the yellow learn button for LiftMaster and Chamberlain AC belt and chain drive openers built from 2011 to about 2016, before Wi-Fi was built into the board. It carries myQ over the 828LM gateway but has no Wi-Fi of its own. LiftMaster also lists it under 1D7675, 041D7675, 001D7675, 041D7656 and 41D7656.
Yellow learn button, no Wi-Fi, AC motor = this board. Unplug the opener, take off the light lens and the logic board end panel; the number is printed along the edge of the board. If the number reads 050ACTWF or 050ACTBMC the opener is a Wi-Fi unit and needs the 050ACTBMC. If it reads 045DCT the opener is DC and needs the 045DCT.

Some of these model numbers were built with more than one board. The B2202, B2405, B353 and 8557 / 8587 all appear on both this page and the Wi-Fi 050ACTBMC page because the model ran across the changeover. The number on the board decides it, not the model on the label.

Is the board actually the problem?
The logic board is the most over-ordered part on a garage door opener. Work down this list before you buy:

After fitting
The replacement board arrives blank. After fitting it you will need to set the travel limits and force, program every remote, keypad and vehicle HomeLink to the new learn button, and re-test the safety reversal on a 2x4 laid flat on the floor. If you used myQ through an 828LM gateway, re-add the opener in the app.
Put the opener on a surge protector when you fit the new board. Lightning and utility surges are the most common reason a garage door opener logic board is replaced, and a new board on the same unprotected outlet is at the same risk. A plug-in surge protector rated for motors is a small cost next to a second board.
Common questions
Is the 045ACT the same as the 045ACTMC?
Yes. 045ACT is the number printed on the board; 045ACTMC is the number of the boxed service part.
My opener has a purple learn button. Is this the board?
No. Purple is the 2005–2011 315 MHz generation — see the LiftMaster logic board cross reference for those.
Can I fit the Wi-Fi 050ACTBMC instead and get myQ without the gateway?
On many of these openers, yes — the connectors are the same — but LiftMaster only lists the 050ACTBMC for the Wi-Fi models, so we cannot promise it for every unit here. Call us with your model and we will tell you what we have seen.
