LiftMaster Logic Board Cross Reference

LiftMaster Logic Board Cross Reference

The logic board is the circuit board inside the opener — the part that receives the remote signal and drives the motor. This page tells you which board you need, and it is honest about the ones we cannot get. Find your old board number in the chart, then check whether a current replacement exists.

Start here: read the number off your old board.

  1. Unplug the opener at the wall.
  2. Take the light lens and end panel off — the board is behind it.
  3. The part number is printed on the board itself, usually along one edge. It will start 41A, 41D, 041AC, 041AB or 041DB.
  4. Match it in the chart below.

Do not order from the model number on the front of the opener — the same model was built with different boards across its production run.

Before you spend on a board, rule out the cheap faults. A dead opener is often a capacitor, a limit switch or the safety sensors rather than the board. If the motor hums but nothing moves, that is usually the capacitor or a stripped gear. If the door will not close and the sensor light blinks, that is the sensors. Boards fail after power surges and lightning — if that is what happened, the board is the likely culprit.

1. Current Boards — These Are Available

Six boards cover every LiftMaster residential opener built from 2005 onward. If your old board matches one of these or supersedes into one, you can order it today.

Board Fits Notes
041AC050-2M AC chain drive, deluxe end panel 1/2 HP. Replaces 41AC050-2 and 41AC150-2
41AC075-2S AC chain drive, 3/4 HP Single capacitor units only — see the warning below
41AC050-1 AC chain drive, standard end panel Replaces 41AC050-1
041AB050-2M AC belt drive Replaces 41AB050-2
41DB001-1 DC belt drive Replaces 41DB001-1
041DJ001B DC jackshaft, model 3800 / RJO Complete with mounting plate
041A5507-7C DC belt drive with battery backup Two piece board, 390 MHz era

3/4 HP owners — single capacitor or dual? The 41AC075-2S above fits single capacitor units only. The dual capacitor version, 41AC075-2A, is discontinued and there is no substitute — the 2S will not work in its place. Count the capacitors in your opener before ordering, and call (866) 965-5599 if yours has two.

2. Historical Cross Reference

Use these charts to identify what you have. Boards marked discontinued are no longer manufactured and we cannot supply them — they are listed so you can identify your board and know where you stand.

Operators built 1993–1997 — 390 MHz Billion Code with safety sensors

Deluxe chain or belt drive Standard chain drive Screw drive
41A4252, -4, -6, -6A, -6B, -6C, -6D, -6E, -6F, -6G 41A4252-1, -5, -7, -7A, -7B, -7C, -7D, -7E, -7F, -7G 41D4674-1C, -1D, -1E, -1F, -1G

All boards in this generation are discontinued, including the 41A4252-6G, 41A4252-7G and 41D4674-1G that were previously listed as the replacements. Nothing in this range is obtainable. If your opener is from this era and the board has failed, a new opener is the only route — see replacement garage door openers.

This generation is discontinued. The one exception: if your board reads 041A5389-1E on a 2110, 2220, 3110 or 3220 screw drive, the current 041AS050-1 replaces it. Everything else in this range is unavailable.

3. Not Sure? Call Us

Boards are the one part where guessing is expensive. If your number is not on this page, or you are not sure whether your 3/4 HP unit has one capacitor or two, call (866) 965-5599 with the number off the board and we will tell you straight whether we can supply it — including when the answer is no.
