Genuine LiftMaster 050DCRJWFMC receiver logic board (printed 050DCRJWF) — the Security+ 2.0 DC Wi-Fi board for the 8500W wall-mount (jackshaft) opener and the Chamberlain RJO70. The Wi-Fi radio on these openers sits on the logic board, which is why the 8500W does not share a board with the plain 8500: the 8500 and 8500C take the 041DJ002MC.

Read the number on the board. 8500W / RJO70 = this board (yellow learn button, Wi-Fi). 8500 / 8500C / RJO20 = 041DJ002MC (yellow, no Wi-Fi). 3800 / RJO = 041DJ001B (purple). The current 98022 and 98032 use the 041DJ003MC and 050DCRJB3MC.

A beeping wall mount is usually not the board. Check the door cables and the 041A6104 cable tension monitor, and whether the power door lock is engaged, before ordering.

Parts often replaced with it

485LM backup battery · 041B8861 travel module · 041C0168 transformer · 041A6104 cable tension monitor · 041A6102 power door lock · 893LM remote

Is the board actually the problem?

The logic board is the most over-ordered part on a commercial operator. Work down this list before you buy:

SymptomCheck first
Opener beeps and will not runSlack cable at the tension monitor, or the door lock engaged
Dead, no lightsSupply and transformer, then the board
Runs on AC but not on batteryThe 485LM battery
Lost Wi-Fi / myQRouter and app setup, not the board
Dead after a stormThe board — fit surge protection with it

After fitting

Set the travel limits, learn the remotes, re-add the opener in the myQ app and re-test the cable tension monitor and the power door lock.

Fit surge protection when you fit the board. Lightning and utility surges are the most common reason a commercial operator board is replaced, and a new board on the same unprotected supply is at the same risk. The MOV kit on the electrical box is the first line; a proper surge arrester on the supply is the second.
