Genuine LiftMaster 050DCJCWFSDMC receiver logic board (printed 050DCJCWFSD; also seen as 050DCJCL5SD) — the Security+ 2.0 DC Wi-Fi board for the LJ8900W light-duty commercial jackshaft operator for sectional doors. It carries the myQ Wi-Fi radio, the yellow learn button and the battery backup circuit. The rolling-door LJ8950W and the DDO8900W dock door operator share the chassis but use their own boards.

Three boards, three operators. Sectional door LJ8900W = this board. Rolling door LJ8950W = 050DCJCWFRDMC. Dock door DDO8900W = 050DCDDOWFMC. The model is on the operator label; the board number is printed next to the learn button.

Is the board actually the problem?

The logic board is the most over-ordered part on a commercial operator. Work down this list before you buy:

SymptomCheck first
Operator beeps and will not runA slack door cable tripping the cable tension monitor — not the board
Dead, no lightsSupply and transformer, then the board
Runs on AC but not on battery, or beeps every few secondsThe 485LM battery
Lost Wi-Fi / myQRouter and app setup, not the board
Runs a few inches and stopsDoor balance, then the travel module, then the board
Dead after a stormThe board — fit surge protection with it

After fitting

Set the travel limits, learn the remotes, re-add the operator in the myQ app and re-test the cable tension monitor and the entrapment protection.

Fit surge protection when you fit the board. Lightning and utility surges are the most common reason a commercial operator board is replaced, and a new board on the same unprotected supply is at the same risk. The MOV kit on the electrical box is the first line; a proper surge arrester on the supply is the second.
