Linear heads are rail-agnostic — the same head takes either a belt or a chain rail — so your model number determines the parts, not the rail type. Still stuck? Linear Models We Stock Parts For
AC models: LDO33 (1/3 HP), LDO50 (1/2 HP), LCO50 (1/2 HP), LCO75 (3/4 HP), LSO50 (1/2 HP), and the LSO50-2T1KB and LSO50-2T1KB8 belt-drive kits.
DC models: LDCO800, LDCO801, LDCO841, LDCO850, LDCO852, LDCO863B and the Linear 661. The LDCO841, LDCO850, LDCO852, LDCO863B and 661 all carry integrated battery backup.
Understanding Linear Part Numbers
Linear openers are built by Nice North America, and part numbers appear in several formats depending on the era of the unit. You'll see HAE-series codes (HAE00011, HAE00039, HAE00080), plain six-digit numbers (219109, 220919, 228152), hyphenated numbers (218954-03, 10015410-004), and short word codes (BBU, BATT54, RP9004, CSB). All of them are genuine Linear numbers. If you already know your number, search it directly — otherwise use the model list at the top of this page for a diagram with every part linked.
Common Linear Opener Repairs
Opener won't respond, or works intermittently. Usually the control or logic board. The AC models (LDO33, LDO50, LSO50, LCO75) use the HAE00039 / HAE00040 board family; the DC models each use their own board, so match your model page.
Motor hums but the door won't move. On AC units this is typically the run capacitor. Capacitors are HP-specific: 219109 for the LDO33, 219110 for the LDO50 and LSO50, 232168 for the LCO75.
Grinding noise, or the trolley moves but the door doesn't. Gear and sprocket wear. Replace the gear kit rather than the whole head.
Door reverses on its own, or the lights flash. Almost always the infrared safety beams. HAE00087 covers the DC family (LDCO800, LDCO801, LDCO841, LDCO850, LDCO852, LDCO863B and 661).
Battery backup beeping or dead. The BATT54 sealed battery, its housing, or the BBU backup unit, depending on model.
Questions
Will LDO parts fit an LSO or LCO opener?
Some will, some won't. The AC models share a common cluster — motor, sprocket, safety beams, wall station, trolley hardware. But covers and capacitors are model- and horsepower-specific, so ordering by model page is the safe route.
Are Linear and Nice parts the same thing?
Yes. Nice North America owns the Linear brand. Part numbers did not change in the transition, so an HAE-series number from an older manual is still the correct number today.
Do I need belt parts or chain parts?
Whichever rail is on your door, not whichever model you own. Linear heads accept either a belt rail (HBT series) or a chain rail (HCT/HCI series). Look at the rail above your door and order to match. The exception is the LSO50-2T1KB and LSO50-2T1KB8, which shipped as belt-drive kits.
My model is discontinued — can I still get parts?
In most cases yes. We carry parts for the LDO, LSO and LCO series even though the complete units are no longer sold in California, where state law now requires battery backup.
