Genuine GTO / Linear R5211 logic control board — the green board that runs the PRO SW2000XL, SW3000XL / SW3000XLS and SW4000XL / SW4000XLS swing gate openers, the older PRO 2000, 2500, 3000 and 4000, and the Mighty Mule FM500 / FM502. It is the direct replacement for the discontinued R4211 (and the older PRO3040PCB), with updated software for dual-gate master/slave timing and UL325 listing.
Not the 2000XLS or 2002XLS. Those take the R5722, even though the model names look alike. Read the number on your existing board: R4211 or R5211 means this page; R4722 or R5722 means the other.

Is the board actually the problem?

After fitting
The new board arrives with an empty transmitter memory and default settings. Relearn every remote and keypad, set the open and close limits, the auto-close timer and the obstruction sensitivity, and re-test the safety devices before returning the gate to service.
Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.
