Genuine GTO / Linear R5211-01 control board — the DC slider board for the Linear / GTO SL2000B and SL2200B series slide gate openers built from 2016 on (GTO reference 10019210). It handles single and dual gates.

Not a replacement for the older AQ251 board. If your SL2000 has the AQ251 fitted, this board will not drop in; send us a photo of the board before ordering.

Is the board actually the problem?

SymptomCheck first
Opener dead, no lights on the boardThe battery and its terminals, then the transformer or solar panel output, before the board
Gate runs slowly, stops partway or only works some of the timeA tired battery — these openers run off the battery and only charge from the transformer or panel
Remotes do nothing, the button on the board worksReprogram the remotes to the board first; then the remote batteries
Gate overruns or stops shortThe limit or rev counter sensing, not this board
Board lights but the motor does not runThe motor and its wiring, then the board
Failed after a storm or a lightning strikeSurge damage — the most common reason a GTO board gets replaced
Burnt smell, scorching or a bulged component on the boardThe board — replace it

After fitting

The new board arrives with an empty transmitter memory and default settings. Relearn every remote and keypad, set the open and close limits, the auto-close timer and the obstruction sensitivity, and re-test the safety devices before returning the gate to service.

Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.
