LiftMaster 8360 Replacement Parts
The 8360 is a DC chain drive opener with battery backup. Everything for it is on this page: the motor unit, the chain and rail, the battery, the safety sensors, the door hardware and the remote. The reference numbers below match the key numbers on the diagram — plain numbers for the motor unit, R numbers for rail parts and i numbers for installation parts.
Beeping, running slowly, or dead during a power cut? On an 8360 that is almost always just the backup battery — it is a consumable and lasts a few years. See section 3. If the door reverses at the wrong point or will not learn its travel, that is the motor and travel module at key 07.

Replacing the logic board? The board we stock is the 045DCT at key 10. The Wi-Fi version (050DCTWFLK) is not currently available. Read the number printed on the board you are removing before ordering — if it is a Wi-Fi board, call (866) 965-5599 rather than fitting the standard one. The 11 line cord (41B135-1) is also discontinued.
2. Chain and Rail
Both the chain and the rail are sized to your door height. Measure the door opening, not the rail.

A slack chain can usually be re-tensioned rather than replaced. Replace it if links are stiff, the cable is frayed, or the chain has jumped the sprocket — and check the sprocket at key 01 and the trolley while you are in there. Browse all chain and master links.
3. Battery Backup

The battery is a consumable, not a fault — expect to replace it every few years. The opener runs normally on mains with a dead battery, it just will not work during an outage. If you are unsure which battery your unit takes, check the label on the old one or call (866) 965-5599.

If you need eyes and brackets, the 041-0365-000 is the complete set. If your brackets are sound, the 041-0136 eye kit alone is all you need. The i-06 sensor bracket (041A5266-1) is no longer available — the 041-0155-000 replaces it, and the older 41A5034 kit is replaced by the 041-0136.

The 893MAX covers 371LM, 971LM, 973LM and 893LM, and is the listed substitute for 81LM, 83LM, 63LM, 753CB, 850CB, 853CB, 953CB, 953EV and Craftsman 53680, 53859 and 53879. The 98LM, 398LM and 888LM control panels are discontinued — the 889LM replaces them. The 841LM lock upgrade kit is also no longer available. Browse all LiftMaster remote controls.
