Genuine Ramset 800-76-50 upgrade kit assembly — Ramset’s “5-12 Upgrade Kit,” the current ETL control board set packaged to replace the Intelligate electronics in an older RAM slide or swing gate operator. It is the path Ramset gives for operators whose original board is no longer available.
When to use the kit instead of a board. The pre-2016 800-63-00 Intelligate board is still available, so a like-for-like swap on an older operator does not need the kit. The kit is for the first-generation UL325 operators whose 800-63-00-UL board Ramset has discontinued, and for anyone bringing an older operator up to the current standard. Call us with the operator model and the number on the existing board before ordering; the ETL set is AC/DC-specific.

After fitting
The new boards arrive unprogrammed. Set the limits and force, relearn every transmitter, re-enter timer, loop and accessory settings, and re-test every entrapment protection device before returning the gate to service.
Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.
