Miller Edge ME123 – 2-Inch Extruded Sensing Edge
The Miller Edge ME123 is the industry's go-to 2-inch extruded sensing edge, designed to fit a wide variety of door applications. When lightly touched, it sends an immediate electrical signal to the operator controls to stop and/or reverse operation.
This slide-in style edge uses a double-T mounting design for superior stability, and mounts vertically or horizontally. It is custom manufactured to your specified color, length, and cord location.
Before you order — five things to confirm
1. Length. Built to your measurement. Maximum length depends on configuration: 100 ft electric, 60 ft Air-Wave, 18 ft pneumatic.
2. Cord location. Left, right, end, top, or universal end plug — see the diagram below.
3. Color. Black or yellow.
4. Monitoring. The designator is set by your operator, not by the edge — see the designator guide.
5. Mounting channel. Choose a profile below, or select NONE if you are replacing an edge in a channel you already have.

Mounting Channel Options
All ME123 channels measure 1-1/2″ high × 2″ wide. Match the profile to your mounting surface, or choose NONE when dropping a replacement edge into an existing channel.

Cord Location
The cord output is where the lead exits the edge. Choose the position that suits your installation:
- L or R — left or right, referenced from the inside looking out. Which side is your operator mounted on?
- E — end of the edge
- T — top, exiting the back face
- Universal end plug — plug-in connection at the end
