Miller Edge MGR20 – 3-Sided Sensing Edge for 2″ Round Gate Posts
The Miller Edge MGR20 is a 3-sided sensing edge that wraps a 2-inch round gate post, detecting contact from three directions rather than a single face. It mounts directly to the post — no mounting channel required.
When touched, the edge sends an immediate electrical signal to the operator controls to stop and/or reverse gate operation.
Maximum length is 10 feet, and this edge must not be bent.
Lengths over 8 feet incur an additional shipping charge. Edges are custom made and are not returnable.
Before you order — four things to confirm
1. Post shape. The MGR20 fits round posts. For a 2 inch square post you need the MGS20 instead. Measure before ordering.
2. Length. Measure the full post height less caps — not required to exceed 6 ft. Maximum 10 ft. Ordered in 1/4 inch increments.
3. Cord location. Left, right, or universal.
4. Monitoring. Monitored if your gate operator was built after January 2016. Gate operators use the T2 (10K resistive) designator.

Dimensions
Overall 3-5/8″ wide × 2-7/8″ high, with a 2-3/16″ inner opening that seats over a 2 inch round post.
Does Your Gate Operator Need a Module?
Most gate operators take a T2 edge with no module. Some brands need an interface module between the edge and the controller:
