Genuine LiftMaster 030DCT receiver logic board kit — the Security+ 3.0 board with the white learn button used in LiftMaster's current DC belt and chain drive openers: the 6690L, 6580L, 4690L, 2100L, 2220L, 2300L, 2420L and 2310M. This is the first generation of LiftMaster residential boards on Security+ 3.0, and it is not interchangeable with any earlier yellow, purple or red button board.
White learn button = this board. Unplug the opener and remove the logic board end panel (041-0503-000 on the 6690L / 6580L / 4690L, the side panel 041-0586-000 on the 2100L family). The number printed on the board is 030DCT. A yellow learn button on a Wi-Fi opener means the 050DCTBFMC instead.

Distributors also list this board for the matching Chamberlain Security+ 3.0 openers (B2310, B3000, B3010, B4310, B5330, B6630, B6650, B6830, B6850, C1000, C3000, C4310, D1000). Chamberlain has not published that list itself, so confirm from the number on your board before ordering for one of those.
Older openers do not use this board. The 2011–2022 Wi-Fi openers with a yellow learn button — 8160W, 8550W, 81602, 84501, 84602, 87504 — take the 050DCTBFMC, even where the new model replaced them. The wall-mount 98022 and 98032 stay on Security+ 2.0 and use the 041DJ003MC and 050DCRJB3MC.

Is the board actually the problem?
The logic board is the most over-ordered part on a garage door opener. Work down this list before you buy:
| Symptom | Check first |
|---|---|
| Opener completely dead — no light, no beep, nothing from the wall button | The outlet and breaker, then the line cord and the transformer. The board is last on this list, not first |
| Light comes on but the motor does nothing, or clicks once | On these DC units the motor and travel module, then the wiring between them and the board |
| Door will not close and the opener light flashes 10 times | The safety sensors — alignment, a cut wire or a sun-blinded eye. This is never the board |
| Remotes and keypad stopped working but the wall button works | Remote batteries, then re-program them to the learn button. Only if the learn button LED never lights is the receiver on the board suspect |
| Lost its Wi-Fi or myQ connection | The router, the phone app and the Wi-Fi signal in the garage — not the board. Re-run the myQ setup from the app before ordering anything |
| Runs a few inches and reverses, or stops short of the floor | Door balance and the travel and force settings first, then the travel module. The board only after those |
| Beeps every few seconds, or runs slowly on battery | The backup battery is a consumable — replace it before suspecting the board |
| Learn button LED never lights, opener runs one way only, or it failed the night of a storm | The board. Surge damage is the single most common reason one of these is replaced |
After fitting
The replacement board arrives blank. After fitting it you will need to set the travel limits and force, program every remote, keypad and vehicle HomeLink to the new learn button, and re-test the safety reversal on a 2x4 laid flat on the floor. Wi-Fi and myQ do not carry over — delete the old opener from the myQ app and add it again as a new device. Security+ 3.0 remotes and keypads program to the white learn button in the same way as before.
Put the opener on a surge protector when you fit the new board. Lightning and utility surges are the most common reason a garage door opener logic board is replaced, and a new board on the same unprotected outlet is at the same risk. A plug-in surge protector rated for motors is a small cost next to a second board.
Common questions
Is the 6690 the same opener as the 6690L?
Yes — LiftMaster's catalog uses 6690L, 6580L and 4690L; the shorter names appear on some labels and dealer listings. The board is the same 030DCT.
Can I use the 030DCT to upgrade an older opener to Security+ 3.0?
No. It is built for the 2024-on chassis, motor and travel module and will not connect to earlier openers.
What comes in the kit?
The logic board and instructions. The end panel is separate.
