Circuit Board — the most replaced part on the 6050

4502-010 — PCB Gate Operator

This is the control board for the 6050 (reference 95 on the control panel diagram below), and the same board runs the 6100 and 6300. If the operator is dead after a storm, powers up but ignores every input, or behaves erratically, this is the part.

Read this before ordering: your board’s part number depends on when the operator was built. DoorKing revised this board in January 2016. The base part number is 4502-010 and the suffix identifies the version:
  • 4502-018 — operators manufactured January 2016 or later (current production)
  • 4502-012 — operators manufactured prior to January 2016

You do not order those numbers separately. Open the 4502-010 product page and choose your Date of Manufacture from the dropdown — that selects the correct board. If you are unsure, read the number printed on the board currently fitted; it will end in -012 or -018.

Check the varistor at the same time. A surge that kills a board usually takes the 4001-093 MOV assembly with it — fitting a new board without replacing the MOV invites the same failure again.

Older 600 series operators: if your unit is a 601, 602, 605, 610, 615, 620, 625 or 630 — the generation before the 6050 — the correct board is the 4502-009 instead.

The 6050 shares most of its parts with the 6100 and 6300. The housing is literally the 6100-040, the wire set 2600-698 covers all three models, and the 7 in. clutch pad 2801-002 fits the 605, 610 and 6100 as well. What is specific to the 6050 is the 1/3 HP drivetrain: the 2600-126 motor, the 7 in. 2600-567 pulley, the 28 in. 2600-086 belt and the 30 uF 2600-234 capacitor.
