DoorKing 6100 Swing Gate Operator Replacement Parts
Genuine DoorKing replacement parts for the 6100 swing gate operator (model 6100-080, 1/2 HP primary, drawing 6100-880 Rev N). The reference numbers in the tables below match the callout numbers on each diagram, so find the number on the drawing first, then click the part number in the matching row to go straight to that product page. Indented rows are the individual pieces inside a larger assembly — you can buy the whole assembly or just the worn part.
The 6100 is the 1/2 HP version of the same machine as the DoorKing 6050, which uses a 1/3 HP motor. They share the housing, clutch stack, control board and most hardware. What differs: the 6100 uses the 2600-129 motor, the 8 in. 2600-568 pulley, the 30 in. 2600-089 belt and a 50 uF 2600-102 capacitor. The pad mount (2600-671) and post mount (2600-674) shown in outline are separate assemblies, not part of the operator.
Circuit Board — the most replaced part on the 6100
4502-010 — PCB Gate Operator
The same board runs the 6050, 6100 and 6300 swing gate operators. Replace it when the operator is dead with power confirmed at the terminals, when it powers up but ignores every input (radio, keypad, loop, push button), when only one direction works, or after a lightning or surge event.
Check your date of manufacture before you order. DoorKing revised this board in January 2016. The base part number is 4502-010 and the suffix identifies the version:
- -018 — operators built January 2016 or later (current board, UL325 monitored device input)
- -012 — operators built prior to January 2016
You do not order those numbers separately. Open the 4502-010 product page and choose your Date of Manufacture from the dropdown — the two choices read "Unit manufactured before Jan 2016" and "Unit manufactured after Jan 2016 with UL325 monitored device input". If you are unsure, read the number printed on the board currently fitted; it will end in -012 or -018.
Replace the 4001-093 MOV / varistor assembly at the same time. A surge big enough to kill the board almost always takes the varistor with it, and a spent varistor leaves the new board unprotected.
