The Miller Edge MT22 is a sensing edge for rolling doors and material handling systems, measuring 2″ wide by 2″ high. When touched lightly, it sends an immediate signal to the operator controls to stop and/or reverse door operation.
The top tab inserts between the double-angle bottom bars on a rolling door. The edge is flexible and conforms to irregularities in the floor, and the durable vinyl jacket protects the switch assembly from dust and debris.
MT Series — Which Size Do You Need?
| Model | Dimensions | |
|---|---|---|
| MT21 | 2″ W × 1″ H | Lowest profile |
| MT22 | 2″ W × 2″ H | This product — most common |
| MT33 | 3″ W × 3″ H | Largest profile |
Before you order — four things to confirm
1. Length. Built to your measurement. Measure from the tip of one guide to the tip of the opposite guide, then subtract 2 inches so the active edge does not rub on the guides.
2. Cord location. Left, right, or universal. Face the side of the door your operator is mounted to — is it on the left or the right?
3. Color. Black, gray, yellow, yellow/black striped, or chemical-resistant yellow XR5.
4. Designator. T1 through T6, set by your operator — see the designator guide.

Monitored or Non-Monitored?
Monitored edges are required for UL 325 listed operators built after August 29, 2010 that have a monitored circuit. For older units and most other applications, a non-monitored edge is used.
The designator — T1 through T6 — is set by your operator, not by the edge. See the full designator guide for the reference table and how to determine which one you need.
Important: Sensing edges are custom made and are not returnable. Please confirm the correct designator with your operator manufacturer before ordering.
