Miller Edge ME110 – Small Profile Sensing Edge for Grilles & Shutters
The Miller Edge ME110 is a streamlined sensing edge measuring 7/8″ wide × 3/4″ tall — ideal for doors, grilles and shutters up to 1 inch thick, where performance and appearance both matter.
When touched lightly or at an angle, it sends an immediate signal to stop and/or reverse operation. This slide-in style edge has multiple mounting channel options, allowing easy installation on any style of counter shutter or grille.
Before you order — four things to confirm
1. Length. Built to your measurement, ordered in 1/4 inch increments.
2. Cord location. Left, right, end, or top — see the diagram below.
3. Mounting channel. ME110-C, ME110-C2, or ME110-C3 — see below.
4. Monitoring. The designator is set by your operator, not by the edge — see the designator guide.

Mounting Channel Options
| Option | Material |
|---|---|
| ME110-C | Black rigid PVC |
| ME110-C2 | Black rigid PVC |

Choose the profile that matches your mounting surface, or select NONE if you are replacing an edge in a channel you already have.
Cord Location
The cord location is where the lead exits the edge. ME110 is available with four positions:
- L or R — left or right, referenced from the inside looking out. Which side is your operator mounted on?
- E — end of the edge
- T — top, exiting the back face

Get this wrong and the lead runs the opposite way across the opening — and the edge is built to order. See the Gate Edge Handing Guide if you are unsure.
Monitored or Non-Monitored?
Monitored edges are required for UL 325 listed operators built after August 29, 2010 that have a monitored circuit. For older units and most other applications, a non-monitored edge is used.
ME110 is available as 2-wire monitored, 4-wire monitored, 2-wire non-monitored, Air-Wave, or bumper (no sensor). The designator is set by your operator, not by the edge. See the full designator guide for the T1 through T6 reference table.
Important: Sensing edges are custom made and are not returnable. Please confirm the correct designator with your operator manufacturer before ordering.
