Genuine LiftMaster K41-0244-000 BLDC power / motor drive board — the combined power stage and brushless motor drive in the INSL24UL industrial slide gate operator. On the industrial operators this one board does the job the HD power board and the motor drive board do separately on the HDSL24UL; it takes the rectified supply and the batteries and drives the K41-0253-000 motor under the command of the K41-0073-000MC control board.
Not interchangeable between the two industrial models. The INSL24UL takes the K41-0244-000; the IHSL24UL takes the K41-0245-000. The motors and transformers differ too. Read the model on the cabinet label before ordering.

The boards in the HD and industrial family
LiftMaster’s four heavy-duty DC operators share most of their electronics. The table below is taken from the repair-parts pages of the HDSW24UL, HDSL24UL and IHSL24UL/INSL24UL manuals; the part you are on is in bold.
| Operator | Control board | Power board | Motor drive | Relay adapter | Expansion | EMI board | Rectifier |

Is this board actually the problem?
| Symptom | Check first |
|---|---|
| Gate slows, stops partway, reverses on its own, or dies in a power cut | The batteries. These operators run off two 29-NP712 12V 7AH batteries (or the pre-wired pair K74-30762); replace both together |
| Operator dead, no lights on any board | The K41-0346-000 transformer and the K1D7078 EMI board first, then the K41-0083-000 rectifier |
| Control board lights and responds, motor does not run | This board, after checking the motor connections |
| Motor runs rough, hums, or trips the force setting | The K41-0253-000 motor and the gear reducer first |
| Gate overruns or stops short | The K41-0247-000 limit system and K41-0246-000 encoder, not this board |
| Batteries never charge | This board, after confirming rectifier output |
| Burnt smell, scorching or a bulged capacitor on this board | This board — replace it |
After fitting
Photograph the harness connections before removing the old board and reconnect the new one the same way. Then set the limits and force, relearn every remote, re-enter timer, loop and accessory settings, and re-test every entrapment protection device to UL325 before returning the gate to service.
Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.
