Genuine LiftMaster K41-0073-000MC HD main control board — the logic board in all four of LiftMaster’s heavy-duty and industrial DC operators: the HDSW24UL swing and the HDSL24UL, IHSL24UL and INSL24UL slides. LiftMaster lists it as “Main Board, HD Gates” on the HDSL24UL and “Control Board” on the IHSL/INSL. It runs the limits, timers, radio, safety inputs and the display; the motor is driven by a separate board (below).
How to identify it. The service kit is K41-0073-000MC. The board inside may be printed K41-0073-000, K41-0094-000 (the number the HDSW24UL manual uses for the factory-fitted board) or carry a sticker reading 001D9525-1CC / K1D9525-1CC. All of those are this board.

Is the main board actually the problem?

After fitting
Photograph the harness connections before removing the old board and reconnect the new one the same way. Then set the limits and force, relearn every remote, re-enter timer, loop and accessory settings, and re-test every entrapment protection device to UL325 before returning the gate to service.
Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.
