Accessories, safety devices and field-installable kits for the LiftMaster Maxum industrial DC operators — models JDC, RJDC, JHDC and TDC. Everything below fits every Maxum unless a specific model or voltage is called out. Click any part number to go straight to that item.
Three things that catch people out on this platform:
The traffic lights need a relay card. Both RGL24LY and RGL-CTL require the AUXREL auxiliary relay board, which is sold separately. Ordering the light alone leaves you with nothing to switch it.
Loop detection is two parts. LPEXP is the input board and LOOPDETLM is the detector itself — you need both for a working loop.
Most heaters need a cover. HTR and HTR460 require either COVERDC or 001A3982 to be fitted. Only HTR120NC works without a cover, and it needs its own separate 120VAC feed.
Entrapment Protection — Photo Eyes, Edges and Light Curtains
Every Maxum operator ships with the CPS-U photo eye as standard. The rest are alternatives for longer ranges, wet or washdown environments, or edge-based protection. Monitored devices report their own health back to the operator; non-monitored devices do not, and the guide labels them clearly below.

Also compatible: any 2-wire monitored Miller Edge model carrying a T2 designator, or a 4-wire edge with a 10 kilohm resistor wired in series. The Miller Edge RBand wireless edge sensor system (RB-TX10 transmitter with RB-P-RX10C receiver) also works with those edge sensors.
Wall Controls
The DCWALLCTL LCD controller ships with every new Maxum and is what you use for floor-level commissioning, limit setting and speed adjustment. The 02-series stations are simpler open/close/stop controls for additional operating positions.

Remotes, Receivers and Antennas
All of these are Security+ 2.0. The Maxum has a receiver built in; the 312HM and 412HM are for older mixed-frequency sites, and the STAR1000 is the choice where you need to manage a large remote population.

Approval note: every transmitter above is approved for use in the USA and Canada only, with one exception — the 811LMX is additionally approved for Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico.
Interlocks, Motion Detection and Traffic Control
Interlock switches are specific to the door type — sectional and rolling are different parts. Both traffic lights require the AUXREL relay board.

Battery Backup, Heaters and Covers
Battery backup is included on the JDC and is capable-but-not-included on the RJDC, JHDC and TDC. A fully charged battery gives about 20 cycles within 48 hours of losing AC power. Without a heater the Maxum is rated to −4°F; with one, to −40°F.

Step-Down Transformer Kits
The Maxum ships as a dedicated 120/240V SKU or a dedicated 480V SKU. Running one on 208V or 600V is done with a transformer kit, and the kit is sized to the operator's door weight.

Sprocket, Chain and Mounting Kits
Sprocket changes are the sanctioned way to slow a Maxum down. Dropping from a 12-tooth to a 10-tooth operator sprocket reduces door speed roughly 20%, or lets you use a smaller door sprocket at the same speed.
