Genuine LiftMaster LPEXP loop detector input board — the input board that gives a CAPXL / CAPXLV smart access controller, or a Maxum DC commercial door operator, a socket for a plug-in vehicle loop detector. It is half of a loop installation: the LPEXP is the input board and the LOOPDETLM is the detector that plugs into it. You need both, plus the loop itself, for a working loop.
Two parts, not one. LPEXP = input board. LOOPDETLM = plug-in detector. Ordering either alone leaves you with half a loop circuit. LiftMaster sells them together as the LPEXPKIT.

After fitting
Plug the LOOPDETLM into the LPEXP, connect the loop leads, set the detector sensitivity and check that the loop registers a vehicle at the far edge of the lane before handing over.
