LiftMaster 041-0365-000 Safety Sensor Eyes & Brackets Kit
The 041-0365-000 is the current genuine LiftMaster safety sensor kit for garage door openers manufactured 1997 to present. It is the direct replacement for the 41A5034 and the 041-0136, both discontinued.
Complete kit: one sending eye with LED, one receiving eye with LED, two mounting brackets, and installation hardware. Genuine LiftMaster part, not aftermarket.

Sensor kits have been sold under a long list of numbers over the years. If your old sensor, bracket or parts diagram shows any of these, the 041-0365-000 is your replacement:

Will it fit my opener?
It fits LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman and Sears belt drive and chain drive garage door openers made from 1997 onward. Those brands share one platform, so the badge on your opener does not matter — the date does.
If your opener predates 1997, it may have no safety sensors at all. Sensors became a requirement in 1993, so an opener without them is old enough to be worth replacing on safety grounds regardless.
Sensor troubleshooting — before you buy
A door that will not close is not always a failed sensor. Work through these first:

If the LEDs behave correctly and the door still will not close, the fault is likely the logic board rather than the eyes.
Installation
Both eyes mount no more than 6 inches above the floor — that is a UL325 requirement, not a suggestion. Mount them on the track or on the wall, facing each other across the opening.
Wiring is low voltage and not polarity sensitive on most models: white to white, white-with-black-stripe to grey. Both eyes must show a steady LED before the door will close under normal control.
Common questions
Is this genuine LiftMaster? Yes. This is the OEM part, not an aftermarket copy. Aftermarket sensors exist at lower prices, but fitment and LED behaviour vary and they are a common cause of intermittent faults that get blamed on the opener.
Do I need both eyes? They are sold as a matched pair and should be replaced together. Mixing a new eye with an old one is a frequent source of alignment problems.
Are the brackets included? Yes — two brackets and the mounting hardware.
My opener is a Craftsman. Fine. Craftsman openers of this era are built on the same platform and use the same sensors.
Will this work with myQ? Yes. myQ is the Wi-Fi layer; the sensors are the safety circuit. Unrelated systems.
