DoorKing 1838 Access Controller Replacement Parts
Genuine DoorKing replacement parts for the 1838 multi-door access controller, covering both the standard 1838-081 (3000 codes) and the 1838-095 Access Plus (100 codes). The two units share the same control box, keypad, locks and hardware — the differences are the board, the speaker and the transformer count, and every one of those is called out below.

• The keypad shown as 1818-030 is no longer supplied. The current part is the 1838-030 keypad and ribbon assembly.
• The memory chip shown as 1830-402 is superseded by the 1830-404 memory module. See the note under the memory section — there is a second 3000-code chip and they are not interchangeable on every build.

Memory Chips — Read Before Ordering
DoorKing lists two different 3000-code APB memory parts for the 1838 and the factory drawing names only the older one. If you are replacing a chip, check what is fitted and call us if it does not match either of these.
