Genuine DoorKing 1838-010 control board — DoorKing’s “PCB Modem Card Reader,” the main board of the 1838-081 multi-door access controller (3,000 codes). The 1838 is an access controller, not a telephone entry panel: no handset, no dialing, just credentials and door relays.
Two 1838 versions, two boards. The 1838-081 takes this board. The 1838-095 Access Plus (100 codes, networked) takes the 1970-010, the same board as the 1812 Access Plus. Read the model number on the label before ordering.
Ships without the memory chip. The codes live on the plug-in 3,000-code APB chip: the current 1830-404 (replacing the 1830-402 on the factory drawing), or the 1838-147. Move your existing chip across and the programming carries over.
