LiftMaster SRDRMMv2 2nd Generation Smart Reader — Mullion. Built for the slim mullion profile for narrow storefront and glass door frames. Residents open the door by tapping a phone, pressing the myQ Community push notification as they walk up, asking Siri, or using an Apple Watch. The same reader also reads existing 125 kHz prox and 13.56 MHz cards and fobs, so a property can move to mobile credentials without reissuing every card on day one.
What is new in the 2nd generation
- IP65 rated for outdoor use — LiftMaster’s first Smart Reader line rated for exterior installs
- 50 mA at 12 VDC — half the power draw of the original Smart Readers
- Terminal block wiring (pigtail also supported) and an upgraded wall plate with swivel mount
- OSDP v2.2 and Wiegand, detected automatically, with remote firmware updates over OSDP
- Fully interoperable with the first-generation LiftMaster Smart Readers on the same system
