What the CAPXLV Was
The CAPXLVMC was LiftMaster’s large-capacity cloud video intercom for residential and commercial communities: a 10" full-colour 720p touchscreen in a brushed stainless steel outdoor housing, controlling up to four entry points — pedestrian doors or vehicular gates — through the myQ® Community platform. Residents saw and spoke with visitors on a 135° camera and granted or denied entry from the app; property managers programmed and monitored the system remotely from a single dashboard.

Upgrading: CAPXLV to CAPXLV2
The CAPXLV2 is the direct replacement and adds capacity and I/O: 4 Wiegand inputs, 4 OSDP readers and 8 relay outputs, scaling from 50 to 50,000 units, with night vision on the camera and the same myQ Community platform.
Important: CAPXL and CAPXLV trim and cam/lock accessories are not compatible with the CAPXLV2. If you are replacing a unit, budget for the CAPXLV2 mounting hardware rather than reusing what is on the wall.
