LiftMaster SRDRKPv2 2nd Generation Smart Reader — Single Gang Keypad with a 12-button PIN keypad. Built for a full-size reader with PIN entry on a single-gang wall plate. Residents open the door by tapping a phone, pressing the myQ Community push notification as they walk up, asking Siri, or using an Apple Watch, or by entering a PIN. The same reader also reads existing 125 kHz prox and 13.56 MHz cards and fobs, so a property can move to mobile credentials without reissuing every card on day one.
What is new in the 2nd generation
- IP65 rated for outdoor use — LiftMaster’s first Smart Reader line rated for exterior installs
- 50 mA at 12 VDC — half the power draw of the original Smart Readers
- Terminal block wiring (pigtail also supported) and an upgraded wall plate with swivel mount
- OSDP v2.2 and Wiegand, detected automatically, with remote firmware updates over OSDP
- Fully interoperable with the first-generation LiftMaster Smart Readers on the same system
