Genuine LiftMaster 050DCDDOWFMC logic board — the DC Wi-Fi logic board for the DDO8900W dock door operator. The DDO8900W runs the LJ8900W's 12 V DC motor and battery backup, but its logic board, transformer and the K002D2085 LMI5 dock door interface board are specific to the dock door application and are not shared with the LJ8900W or LJ8950W.

Two boards on this operator. The 050DCDDOWFMC is the main logic board with the yellow learn button; the K002D2085 is the LMI5 dock interface board that talks to the dock leveler and vehicle restraint. Read the number on the board that has failed.

Is the board actually the problem?

The logic board is the most over-ordered part on a commercial operator. Work down this list before you buy:

SymptomCheck first
Door will not open while a trailer is at the dockThat is the interlock doing its job through the LMI5 interface board — check the restraint and leveler signals first
Dead, no lightsSupply and transformer, then this board
Runs on AC but not on batteryThe 485LM battery
Runs a few inches and stopsDoor balance, then the travel module, then this board
Dead after a stormThis board — fit surge protection with it

After fitting

Set the travel limits, re-add the operator in the myQ app, and re-test the dock interlocks and the entrapment protection before returning the door to service.

Fit surge protection when you fit the board. Lightning and utility surges are the most common reason a commercial operator board is replaced, and a new board on the same unprotected supply is at the same risk. The MOV kit on the electrical box is the first line; a proper surge arrester on the supply is the second.
