Genuine DoorKing 4302-010 control board — the circuit board for the DoorKing 6003, 6004 and 6006 DC swing gate operators. On these models there is no board inside the actuator; the electronics sit in the separate 4302 control box mounted nearby, and this is the board inside it.
Two versions — choose your Date of Manufacture above. DoorKing revised this board in January 2016. The base number is 4302-010; the suffix identifies the version: -018 for operators built January 2016 or later (current, with the UL325 monitored-device input) and -012 for operators built before January 2016. You do not order those numbers separately: pick the date from the dropdown. If you are unsure, read the number on the board currently fitted — it ends in -012 or -018.

Is the board actually the problem?
| Symptom | Check first |
|---|---|
| Operator dead, no board lights | The 4601-058 5 A fuse and incoming power before the board |
| Runs on mains, dies in a power cut | The 1801-008 backup battery |
| Powers up but ignores every input | The board |
| Board lights but the actuator will not move | The 6002-501 harness and limit switch, then the actuator |
| Gate opens but will not close | A loop detector or photo eye holding it open, not the board |
| Failed after a storm | Surge damage — the board, plus the MOV / varistor, which usually shows heat damage too |
| Burnt smell, scorching or a bulged capacitor on the board | The board — replace it |
After fitting
The new board arrives unprogrammed. Set the limits and force, relearn every remote and transmitter, re-enter timer, loop and accessory settings, and re-test every entrapment protection device before returning the gate to service.
Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.
