TransCore AI1422E on-board train reader, 10-1422-500. The current generation of TransCore's on-board rail reader, replacing the original AI1422. It mounts in the on-train electronics cabinet, works with an under-train antenna such as the AA3233, reads tags fixed to the track bed or guideway, and sends the tag data to the train's host computer.
Railroad and transit equipment, not for gates. This part is used on rail vehicles and railroad AEI systems. For HOA, community or parking gate tags and readers, see all RFID gate tags.
