TransCore eGo Plus Micro Mini Full Frame Sticker Tag
The 13-3290-001 is the full-frame flat-chip version of TransCore's eGo Plus Micro Mini windshield sticker tag — a beam-powered RFID transponder that lets a reader at the gate identify a vehicle as it approaches.
What technology is this?
It is passive UHF RFID — radio frequency identification. The tag contains no battery and no electronics that need power. A reader at the gate transmits a 915 MHz signal, the tag harvests energy from it, and replies with a unique identification number. Your access control system looks that number up and decides whether to open.
It is the same class of technology behind toll transponders, which is no coincidence — TransCore builds a large share of the toll tags in North America and the eGo Plus family comes from that lineage. The difference is that a gate tag talks to your reader and your access control system, not to a toll authority. No account, no balance, no charge per pass.
Two things to know before you order. This tag can only be programmed in ASCII 12-character format, and the lead time is 10 to 12 weeks. Minimum order 10, in lots of 10, special order and non-returnable. If your system does not specifically require the ASCII 12-character full-frame format, order the half-frame version instead — same price, same performance, no three-month wait.
Do you actually need full frame?
Most people who land here want the half-frame. The two tags are the same price and read identically. The difference is programming format and availability.
| Full frame — this tag | Half frame | |
|---|---|---|
| Part | 13-3290-001 | 13-3250-001 |
| Programming | ASCII 12-character only | Standard |
| Lead time | 10–12 weeks | Call to confirm — considerably shorter |
| Profile on the glass | Full frame flat chip | Low profile, less visible |
| Protocol | eGo / eGo Plus | eGo / eGo Plus |
| Read performance | Same | Same |
Order this one if: your access control system requires ASCII 12-character tag programming, you are matching an existing full-frame population on site, or your integrator has specified it. Otherwise take the half-frame.
Not sure which format your system uses? Send us the reader model and a sample tag number and we will tell you before you commit to a ten-week wait on non-returnable stock.
Where to mount it
Inside the windshield, behind the rear-view mirror, near the centre of the glass. Clean the area first. The adhesive is single-use by design — the tag is destroyed if removed, so a credential cannot be moved between vehicles.
Metallised windshields block the signal. Many modern vehicles have a metallic or heated windshield coating. Most have a small uncoated window behind the mirror — mount there. If there is no clear area, use the eGo Plus mini external tag or a headlight tag instead.
Keep it a few inches clear of any existing toll transponder so the two do not interfere, and away from the metallic tint band along the top of the glass.
Will it work with my reader?
The tag runs the eGo / eGo Plus protocol. Your reader has to speak it.
| Reader | Reads this tag? |
|---|---|
| 10-4002-009 EncomPass4 eGo/ATA | Yes |
| 10-4002-024 E4, ATA/SeGo/6C | Yes — reads mixed tag populations |
| 10-4002-005 EncomPass4, 6C/SeGo | Yes |
| 10-4002-008 SmartPass4, ATA only | No |
| 10-4002-001 EncomPass4, SeGo only | SeGo tags only |
If you are adding tags to an existing installation, tell us your reader model before you order. Protocol mismatch is the most common reason tags arrive and do not work, and on a ten-week non-returnable order that is an expensive mistake.

Ordering for a community
Most of these go out in quantity — an HOA tagging every resident vehicle, an apartment complex issuing to tenants, a yard tagging a fleet. Tell us how many vehicles and which reader you are running and we will quote and confirm the programming format with you. We supply property managers and installers regularly.
Common questions
What is a TransCore sticker tag? A thin adhesive passive UHF RFID transponder for a vehicle windshield. A reader at the gate identifies the vehicle as it approaches and opens the gate — no remote, no card, nothing for the driver to do.
What is the difference between full frame and half frame? Programming format and lead time, not performance. Full frame is ASCII 12-character only with a 10–12 week wait. Half frame is standard format and available far sooner, at the same price.
How do I know which one my system needs? Check with whoever set up your access control, or send us your reader model and a sample tag number. On most systems the half-frame is correct.
Why is the lead time so long? These are programmed to order in a specific format and produced in batches. It is not a stock item.
Can I cancel or return them? No — special order, non-returnable, because they are programmed for your system. That is why we would rather confirm the format before the order goes in.
Does it need a battery? No. It draws power from the reader's signal, so there is nothing to replace and no service life to track.
Can I move it to another car? No. Sticker tags are built to be destroyed on removal so a credential cannot be passed between vehicles. That is a security feature, not a defect.
Is this the same as a toll transponder? Same family of technology, different purpose. This talks to your gate reader and your access control system. There is no toll account, no balance and no per-pass charge.
Will it work with an AWID or DoorKing reader? No — this is an eGo/eGo Plus tag. For those systems see the AWID WS-UHF-0-0 or the DoorKing 1508-195.
