Genuine DoorKing 1508-195 — the DK Prox UHF windshield / headlight tag read by the 1815-350 long-range reader. A passive tag with no battery: it mounts inside the windshield or on the outside of a headlight lens, the reader identifies it at up to 25 ft, and the gate opens as the vehicle approaches. Each tag is pre-coded at the factory with your facility code and a sequential number, printed on the envelope, so it enrols in the controller exactly like a card.
Sold in lots of 50, price shown is per tag. Special order, coded to your facility code and start number, 3–5 day lead time, non-returnable. Give us the facility code already in use on the site and the next free card number when you order — a batch coded to the wrong facility code cannot be re-used.

Not for DK Prox card readers. This is a UHF tag for the 1815-350 only. The short-range 125 kHz DK Prox readers (1815-300, 1815-301, 1815-302, keypad-reader combinations) use the 1508-120 clamshell, 1508-127 custom-coded clamshell and 1508-123 / 1508-129 key tags. It is not read by LiftMaster, TransCore, AWID or Infinity long-range readers either.
Common questions
How do I enrol the tags?
Each envelope carries the tag's number. Enter it in the controller against the resident with the facility code, the same as a card. On a 1830-series system that is done in the DKS software or at the keypad.
Can a resident keep their card as well?
Yes. The tag and the card are separate credentials in the controller; most sites use the tag for the vehicle gate and the card for pedestrian doors.
Can I move a tag to a new car?
No. It self-destructs when peeled. Issue a new tag and delete the old number.
Why does it read short on some cars?
Metallic-tint and heated windshields block UHF. Move the tag to the headlight and turn the reader antenna vertical.
Can I order fewer than 50?
No — DoorKing supplies them in coded lots of 50.
