Chamberlain WD952KD, WD952KLD and HD800D Replacement Parts
These are DC belt drive openers with battery backup — a different platform from the AC Whisper Drive models. There is no capacitor and no gear and sprocket assembly; instead there is a DC motor, a separate power supply and a battery backup circuit board. This parts list covers all three models:

Beeping, running slowly, or dead during a power cut? That is almost always just the backup battery — the 041B0591 replacement battery. It is a consumable and lasts a few years. The opener runs normally on mains with a dead battery; it just will not work during an outage. If the battery is new and it still will not charge, the 41A5726 BBU circuit board is the next thing to check.

Two parts we cannot supply. The terminal block (41B4375-3) and the BBU housing (41A5893-1) are both discontinued with no replacement. Everything else on this diagram is available. Note the three wire harnesses at ref 04 do different jobs — logic, high voltage and light socket — so check which one has failed before ordering. Call (866) 965-5599 if you are unsure.
Before replacing the 41DB001-1 logic board, check the fuse and the power supply — on this platform a dead opener is often one of those rather than the board itself, and both are a fraction of the cost.

The battery is a consumable, not a fault — expect to replace it every few years. Order the battery first; the BBU circuit board is only needed if a new battery will not hold charge.

The belt is sized to your door height, not your rail — measure the door opening. Check the idler pulley, trolley, tensioner and wear pads while the rail is apart. See all Chamberlain belt and rail parts.

The current 041-0136 eye kit replaces the older 41A5034 and fits Chamberlain and LiftMaster openers alike. If your brackets are bent or missing too, the 041-0365-000 includes eyes and brackets together.
