The Miller Edge MC22 is a monitored sensing edge for rolling doors and grilles, replacing the discontinued MC271. If you have been searching for an MC271, the MC22 is its direct functional replacement and installs the same way.
The MC22 is custom manufactured to your exact specifications for length and cord location. When touched lightly or at an angle, it sends an immediate electrical signal to the operator controls to stop and/or reverse operation. Made with a vinyl wrapping and an extruded T, it is designed to slide into an applicable door's bottom retainer. The exterior is highly flexible and conforms to irregularities in the floor.
Before you order — four things to confirm
1. Length. Measured to your specification.
2. Cord location. Left or right, referenced from the inside looking out. Which side is your operator mounted on?
3. Color. Black, gray, yellow, yellow/black striped, or chemical-resistant yellow XR5.
4. Designator. T1 through T6, set by your operator — see the designator guide.

Monitored or Non-Monitored?
Monitored edges are required for UL 325 listed operators built after August 29, 2010 that have a monitored circuit. For older units and most other applications, a non-monitored edge is used.
