DoorKing 1837 Telephone Entry System — 8-Line LCD Display
The DoorKing 1837 is the top of DoorKing's telephone entry and access control range, for medium to large apartment complexes, gated communities, office buildings and industrial sites. It holds 3,000 names and numbers, interfaces with up to 16 card readers, and stores 8,000 access card codes.
What sets it apart is the eight-line LCD directory display. Where a single-line unit shows one resident at a time and makes a visitor scroll, the 1837 shows eight at once with half-inch characters — faster to use, easier to read from a car, and far less likely to have someone giving up and calling the wrong person.
