LiftMaster 3130 and 3240 Replacement Parts
These are screw drive openers, and they are the best supported of the LiftMaster screw drive range — a complete motor drive assembly and current logic boards are both still available. Everything for them is on this page: the motor unit, the screw drive rail, the safety sensors, the door hardware, the wall control and the remote. Each section has its own diagram, and the reference numbers are specific to the diagram directly above them.
Opener runs but the door barely moves, or the rail groans? On a screw drive that is usually the rail rather than the head — old grease hardens and the trolley starts fighting the screw. Strip the old grease off completely and re-grease with the 83A11-2 rail grease before you replace anything. See section 2.

There are two high voltage wire harnesses, at refs 09 and 09a. They are different lengths and connector configurations — compare against the one you are removing before ordering, or call and we will identify it with you.
Replacing the logic board? There are two versions and they are not interchangeable — the 041AS050R1M is for the 3130 and the 041AS050R2M is for the 3240. Both are 315 MHz. Read the number printed on the board you are removing and match it. Two parts we cannot supply for these models: the limit switch assembly (041D4671) and the screw drive RPM kit (41C4672). The ref 11 cover for the 3130 (41A5525-57) is also no longer available.

There are two racks at ref 04 — K081C0168 and K081C0275. Check the number on the one you are removing. The screw drive trolley (041C4677) and the 3 piece SSR rail kit (041A6263) are no longer available. See all screw drive rail parts.

Remote controls
The original remotes for these openers are discontinued. The 893MAX is the universal replacement and works with all the older LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Craftsman openers. It covers 371LM, 971LM, 973LM and 893LM, and is the listed substitute for 81LM, 83LM, 63LM, 753CB, 850CB, 853CB, 953CB, 953EV and Craftsman 53680, 53859 and 53879.
