LiftMaster 1000SD and 2000SD Replacement Parts
This page covers the 1000SD, 1000SDR, 2000SD and 2000SDR screw drive openers. These are long out of production and several of their major parts are no longer manufactured, so read the availability note below before you start pulling the unit apart.
What we can and cannot supply for these openers.
Still available: line cord, capacitor bracket, terminal block, light socket, 28 tooth pulley, retainer ring, drive belt, the rail rack and coupler, door arms, safety sensors and install hardware.
No longer made, with no replacement: the 1/2 HP capacitor (30B363), the limit switch assembly (041D4671), the RPM sensor assembly (41C4672), the motor pulley (144B0041M) and the screw drive trolley (041C4677). There is also no motor, logic board or end panel available for these models.

Refs 03, 06 and 12 — the capacitor, limit switch assembly and RPM sensor — appear on the diagram but are no longer manufactured. The 144B0041M motor pulley is also discontinued; the 144B0042 28 tooth pulley above is a different part and is not a substitute for it.

There are two racks at ref 04 — K081C0168 and K081C0275. Check the number on the one you are removing. The screw drive trolley (041C4677) and the 3 piece SSR rail kit (041A6263) are both no longer available. A screw drive rail that binds or runs noisily usually just needs cleaning and re-greasing with the 83A11-2 above; strip the old hardened grease off first rather than adding to it. Superseded part numbers
The current eyes and brackets replace every earlier version, so there is no need to match your old part number — order the current part.

Remote controls
The original remotes for these openers are discontinued. The 893MAX is the universal replacement and works with all the older LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Craftsman openers. It covers 371LM, 971LM, 973LM and 893LM, and is the listed substitute for 81LM, 83LM, 63LM, 753CB, 850CB, 853CB, 953CB, 953EV and Craftsman 53680, 53859 and 53879. Wall controls — superseded part numbers
These openers predate Security+ 2.0, so the modern MyQ and Security+ 3.0 panels will not work with them. Use a simple two wire control.
