DoorKing 910 Slide Gate Operator Parts

DoorKing 910 Slide Gate Operator Parts

Replacement parts for the DoorKing 910 slide gate operator — a belt-driven, solenoid-braked unit DKS built through the 1990s. Long out of production, and plenty still in service. Several parts are shared with the 915.

Order by the number stamped on the part, not by your operator model. DoorKing revised this operator during its production run and several parts changed without the model number changing. The supersession table below is keyed to operator serial number — find yours on the data plate inside the enclosure before ordering.

Supersession — check your serial number

From serial Change Date
95-05-1 New Vespel washer May 1995
95-06-1 Mainshaft changed Jun 1995
95-11-1 4001-015 lock → 4001-035, and add 2599-034 label Nov 1995
97-04-1 Solenoid support bracket 2600-487, Spirol pin sleeve 2600-488 and Spirol pin 2600-807 Apr 1998
98-10-1 BOM corrected, ETL decal changed Oct 1998

The April 1998 solenoid change is a set. The support bracket, pin sleeve and Spirol pin were introduced together. If your operator predates 97-04-1 and you are replacing the brake solenoid, order all three or the assembly will not locate correctly.

Common questions

My gate hums but will not move. Check the 2600-102 capacitor before anything else. A failed capacitor produces exactly this symptom and costs a fraction of a motor.

The gate drifts past its stopping point. That is the brake, not the clutch. Check the 2600-455 brake solenoid and its support hardware.

The operator runs but the gate does not move. Clutch slipping. Check the 2600-342 clutch pad — a clutch that slips under normal load is worn or out of adjustment.

What belt does the 910 take? The 2600-429, which cross-references to an AX35 cogged V-belt.

Do 910 and 915 parts interchange? Several do — the magnet jam nut subassembly is listed for both. Check the number on the part
