LiftMaster MADCBB3 Mega Arm — the pedestal-style 24 VDC barrier gate operator for parking lots, gated communities and industrial entrances. A 1/2 HP-equivalent DC motor opens or closes the arm in 2.5 seconds, it is rated for 6,000 cycles a day, and the two 12 V 7 Ah batteries in the cabinet keep it running through a power cut. Aluminum chassis, built-in Security+ 2.0 receiver, arms to 15 ft. Sold as the operator; arm ordered separately.
Mega Arm is being retired. LiftMaster launched the Techna barrier line in 2024 (CBG24DC replaces the MA / MAT, PBG24DC replaces the Sprint models) and distributors list the Mega Arm as being discontinued through 2026. It is still a current, supported operator with a full parts catalog, and we stock the Mega Arm parts. If you are adding to a site that already has Mega Arms, this keeps the equipment consistent; for a new site, ask us about the Techna before you order.

Common questions
Is the arm included?
No. Choose the arm for the lane width from the list above; the 15 ft and 17 ft arms need the MA117 counterweight.
Loop detectors?
The board has plug-in slots for reverse and shadow / free-exit loop detectors and takes BD Loops preformed loops. Tell us the lane and we will spec the loops with the operator.
Freight?
The operator ships on a pallet by LTL freight to a business address with a forklift or a lift-gate truck. The shipping shown at checkout is the crated freight rate.
