Genuine LiftMaster MA001 control board — the circuit board for the LiftMaster Mega Arm MA and MAT barrier gate operators. LiftMaster also numbers it K79-60166; both numbers refer to this board.
How to identify it. Read the board in the operator cabinet: MA001 or K79-60166 on the label. If the operator is dead with power confirmed, or it powers up but ignores every input, this is the usual part.

Is the board actually the problem?

After fitting
The new board arrives unprogrammed. Set the travel limits and force, relearn every remote and transmitter, and re-enter timer, loop and accessory settings before returning the gate to service. Re-test every entrapment protection device before handing the gate back.
Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.
