Linear DT Single Button Visor Remote — 310 MHz, 8 Dip Switch (DNT00002A)
The Linear DT — also sold as the DTA, DTC and DTD, Linear order number DNT00002A — is a one-button visor transmitter for Linear Delta 3 gate operators and access control systems. It runs at 310 MHz and codes with 8 dip switches, giving 256 possible settings. This is the standard replacement remote for the Delta 3 format and has been in service on residential driveways and community gates for decades.
Supplied with a removable visor clip and a 9V battery.
Is this the right remote for my gate?
Open your existing remote and count the dip switches. Eight switches means you are in the right place. If you count ten, you have a Multi Code system at 300 MHz. If there are no switches at all, you have Mega Code at 318 MHz. None of the three cross over, and there is no adapter.

Programming
There is no learn button and nothing to press on the opener. Open the battery compartment on your existing working remote, note the up/down position of all eight switches left to right, and set the new remote to the identical pattern. That is the whole procedure.
If no working remote survives, open the receiver on the opener and read the switch pattern there instead. If you cannot reach the receiver, set both it and the new remote to any pattern you choose — it only matters that the two match.

Compatibility
Works with all Linear Delta 3 receivers and gate operators running the 310 MHz 8-switch format, including the DR / DR3A and GRD receivers.
Not compatible with rolling code systems, LiftMaster Security+ 2.0, Linear Mega Code, or Multi Code. This is a fixed-code transmitter for legacy Delta 3 equipment.
Common questions
How many remotes can one receiver run? Any number. Every transmitter set to the same switch pattern will operate it, which is why this format is still standard on shared community gates.
My new remote doesn't work. In order of likelihood: the switch pattern is reversed left to right, the system is not actually 310 MHz, or the battery is flat out of the pack.
Range is poor. Usually the antenna on the receiver rather than the remote. Check the wire is extended and clear of metal.
