EMX PATRIOT-L.WIFI long-range UHF RFID reader. The PATRIOT-L with built-in WiFi, so the installer can set it up from a phone or laptop without running a cable. Linear-polarized 10 dBi antenna, 18–25 ft read range, Wiegand, RS-232 or relay output, and up to 500 tags stored for standalone use.
PATRIOT-L or PATRIOT-E? The L uses a linear-polarized antenna, which reaches a little farther when tags all face the same way (windshield tags in one lane). The PATRIOT-E uses a circular-polarized antenna, which reads more reliably when tag angles vary (hang tags, mixed vehicles). Change the default WiFi passcode at install.

Match the reader to your tags. A long-range reader only reads the tag type it was built for. Check the tags your site already uses before ordering, and have your gate company set the reader up with your controller.
