Genuine DoorKing 1835-010 control board — the main circuit board for the DoorKing 1835 telephone entry system. The 1835 shares its faceplate, subplate, slant box and the 1891-010 single-line display with the 1834, but it has its own board and its own memory chip.
The board ships with no memory chip. The 1835 stores its resident directory and codes on the plug-in 1835-147 3,000-number APB memory chip, not on the board. Move your existing chip to the new board and your programming carries over. If the chip is missing or damaged, order the 1835-147 with the board.
Check the board number before ordering. If your board reads 1834-010 or 1837-010 you have a different commercial unit and need that board. If it reads 1871-010, 1971-010 or 1970-010, you have an 1812.

After fitting
Fit your existing memory chip to the new board before powering up. Then confirm the system settings — talk time, relay strike time, tone-open codes — against your records; the chip carries the directory, but check the programming before handing the system back.
