DoorKing 1200-085 Designer Mounting Post — Straight, Pad Mount
The straight version of DoorKing's heavy-duty designer post, sized for full-case telephone entry systems at walk-up (pedestrian) locations. You get the post with its built-in electrical compartment. The light tower, light and in-ground adapter are separate parts — see the chart below. Need a drive-up gooseneck instead? Order the 1200-086.

- Beveled post cap (1200-053)
- Lockable rear electrical compartment with key lock
- Four 115 VAC convenience outlets for plug-in accessory transformers
- Room for up to three surge suppressors and an RF radio receiver
- Weather stripping and DoorKing assembly hardware

- Concrete anchor bolts for pad mounting
- 1200-058 in-ground adapter — only if there is no concrete pad

Which Entry Systems Mount on a Designer Post
- DoorKing full-case telephone entry systems: 1803, 1810, 1810AP, 1833, 1834, 1835 and 1837 mount directly on the post face.
- DoorKing 1802, 1802-EPD and 1819 need the 1802-111 adapter plate.

Common setups:
- Post on an existing concrete pad: 1200-085 or 1200-086
- Post with no concrete pad: the post + 1200-058 in-ground adapter
- Lighted post: the post + 1200-087 tower + 1200-150 light (add 1200-058 if there is no pad)
Finish: DoorKing ships designer posts prime-coated black only. DoorKing says they must be finished with a high-quality outdoor paint to prevent corrosion and rust.
