Compatibility

Compatible with all LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Sears garage door openers from 1993 to present that use:

  • 315 MHz or 390 MHz frequency
  • Colored learn buttons (green, orange/red, purple, yellow)

Important: Will NOT work on pre-1993 units that use DIP switches.

    The unit I needed was no longer available; however a substitute was suggested which would control three doors. I have coded it to two doors and will code it to the third at a vacation home. The unit works great and at a greater distance than the previous one. The unit was shipped and received in record time. Company has great service.

    The product was exactly what I needed. My remote is no longer available, the website directed me to this one and gave clear, easy to follow directions to program it. I was very nervous about programming, I thought it was very difficult. The web site's instruction, including a video, were perfect! I am now a programming wizard! I ordered another one just to have a spare, it took me about three minutes to program three doors into it. Thank you!!!

    My remote died and I googled where to buy one. I clicked on the Gatehouse link, in the results, and found that the remote I had was no longer available but was given a new model to purchase in it's place. In less than a week I was using my new remote. I've bookmarked the page for future purchases, if I should need to replace my older second, out-of-date, model. I will recommend Gatehouse to anyone looking to replace one, or add another one.

    The Liftmaster 893 was priced favorably at gatehouse. It arrived quickly as was promised. It worked perfectly, had full manufacturer's operating instructions included, and that's that. What more could a customer want?

    Product is fine. However, I just ordered two more of same 893 Max on 2/9/2014 and I tried to change order to 2 after placing first one within 30 min of each. Only allowed me to change credit card (which I did not want to do) . Please see if you can put them together. thank you.
