About the 371LM (Reference)

The LiftMaster 371LM is a single-button visor-style remote with Security+ technology at 315 MHz, for LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Sears openers and gate operators with a purple learn button.

Compatibility — Purple Learn Button Only

Works only with openers that have a purple learn button (post-2005, 315 MHz Security+). Not compatible with green, orange/red, yellow, or gray learn buttons, or Security+ 2.0 systems.

Also replaces the Raynor 371RGD and is compatible with Sears/Craftsman 139.53993D systems.

    Replacement remote for our Liftmaster door

    The remote we were using is now obsolete. It wasn't clear on any websites if others would work. I emailed Gatehouse supplies, they answered promptly that another specific one would. I ordered it from them and it does work great. The obsolete version could be found for $120. The replacement was closer to $30. Very pleased with their info and service.

    Original unit stopped working and even with new battery wouldn't accept code with main unit; replacement button and main unit matched up right away.
