Genuine DoorKing 1601-010 control board — the circuit board for DoorKing’s parking barrier gate range. One board fits all three operators: the 1601 barrier arm, the 1602 and the 1603 auto-spike barrier. There is only one version of this board, so there is nothing to match on the build date.
How to identify it. The board is printed 1601-010. If the operator is dead with power confirmed at the terminals, or it powers up but ignores every input, this is the usual part.
Order by the number on the board. DoorKing reuses model numbers across generations of the mechanicals, but the 1601-010 has stayed constant across the whole barrier range.

After fitting
The new board arrives unprogrammed. Set the travel limits and force, relearn every remote and transmitter, and re-enter timer, loop and accessory settings before returning the gate to service. Re-test every entrapment protection device before handing the gate back.
Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.

Is the 1602 board different from the 1601? No. The 1601-010 fits the 1601, 1602 and 1603.
