Genuine LiftMaster 041A5021-9G-315 receiver logic board (also 41A5021-9G-315, cross-listed as 41ATS50) — the 315 MHz Security+ board with the purple learn button for the LiftMaster ATS2113X light-duty trolley operator. LiftMaster lists it for ATS models manufactured 1997 to 2005. Of the four ATS boards, only this one and the 390 MHz 041A5021-1HATS are still made.
Purple learn button and 315 MHz remotes = this board. Unplug the operator and remove the cover; the number is printed on the board itself. If the learn button is red or orange the unit is a 390 MHz ATS211R or ATS211X and needs the 041A5021-1HATS. The original ATS and ATS211 boards (041A42527ATSG, 041A42527ATS) are discontinued with no replacement.

The ATS is an AC trolley operator, so check the capacitor first. An ATS that hums and does not move is almost always the K030B0532-1 capacitor, and one that runs a few inches and stops is usually the 041C4398A RPM sensor or the limit switches. The board is the last thing to replace, not the first.

Is the board actually the problem?
The logic board is the most over-ordered part on a garage door opener. Work down this list before you buy:

After fitting
The replacement board arrives blank. After fitting it you will need to set the travel limits and force, program every remote, keypad and vehicle HomeLink to the new learn button, and re-test the safety reversal on a 2x4 laid flat on the floor.
Put the opener on a surge protector when you fit the new board. Lightning and utility surges are the most common reason a garage door opener logic board is replaced, and a new board on the same unprotected outlet is at the same risk. A plug-in surge protector rated for motors is a small cost next to a second board.
